Trueshore is a family owned and operated company. We are a local business dedicated to keeping our Okanagan lakes clear of milfoil.  We are the first and only private company offering milfoil harvesting services for local residents in the Okanagan.

MILFOIL REMOVAL

  • We cut and remove milfoil from your waterfront, around docks, buoys and other obstacles. 

  • We offer reasonable rates and excellent customer service. 

  • We will come to your location, give you a free estimate and ensure that your waterfront property is left better, more accessible and usable for swimming, boating and all around enjoying!

  • Our eco friendly harvester machine cuts up to 5 feet deep and is capable of manoeuvring in shallow waters.

  • Once we have cleared your area we will haul away as much of the milfoil as we can, unless you wish to keep it for fertilizer. 

RATES

  • We quote based on linear footage

  • We cut approximately 30-40 feet out from your waterfront. This may vary depending on your property.

  • If we miss something we do our best to resolve it.

  • If you have a property over 300 linear feet call us to discuss alternate pricing.

  • There may be additional service charges for more complex properties.

WHY Trueshoe

HOW CAN TRUESHORE HELP?

​

  • Just as you spend time keeping your lawn mowed and your property maintained, Trueshore can help you upkeep your water front area and manage the milfoil.

​

  • Currently, the Okanagan Basin Water Board  (OBWB) provides milfoil services on Osoyoos Lake with their harvester and rototiller machines, but their first priority is to clear milfoil from public use areas, such as swimming beaches, high traffic boating areas, and boat launches.  We are proud to have a positive working relationship with OBWB.

  • Trueshore focuses on the needs of private citizens by clearing milfoil from private waterfront areas and local businesses. Our harvester machine is small and maneuverable in shallow water and around docks, buoys, or other obstructions.  We are able to mow milfoil plants in very shallow areas (as little as 2.5 feet of water), creating a more usable recreational area for you.

  • We will do our best to take most of the cut milfoil away, or leave for you to use as fertilizer if you wish (it is rich in phosphorous and nitrogen).
